In 2022, OPPO launched its Reno7 Z Series 5G, a smartphone like no other. Reno7 Z Series 5G is available in two colors and has a bokeh flare portrait feature, allowing users to take selfies in HDR. It is also supported by Snapdragon 5G SoC chipset and an ultra-slim body with OPPO Glow design.

To spread more awareness about the launch of the then-their newest model, OPPO partnered with StyleDoubler to launch a digital campaign to promote the Reno7 Z Series 5G. The campaign’s primary goal is to spread awareness about OPPO’s newest launch and persuade customers to order OPPO Reno7 Series Z 5G to generate and increase sales by promoting its USPs to potential customers.

The Campaign

In this campaign, StyleDoubler collaborated with 10 KOLs — 6 from Instagram and 4 from Twitter. Each KOL will upload one feed post and one story post with a clickable link that will lead customers to purchase their own OPPO Reno7 Z Series 5G.

The campaign lasted from February 28 to March 10, 2022. KOLs are instructed to post teasers about OPPO Reno7 Z Series 5G with the hashtags #ThePortraitExpert and #UnlimitedMeInPortrait to generate preorders.

The Results

Although the flow of the campaign is pretty simple, the campaign managed to deliver impressive numbers and performance. The Instagram campaign generated 259.442 reaches and 287.906 impressions, resulting in 18.759 overall engagements, while the Twitter campaign gained 32.673 impressions and a total engagement of 101.

As a final result, StyleDoubler managed to deliver over 280.000 impressions through collaborations with local KOLs to raise the hype and awareness around the launch of OPPO Reno7 Z Series 5G.

For the Tiktok campaign, KOL Adiba Khanza came out as the KOL with the highest reach and engagement, with a total reach of 107.007 and a total engagement number of 4647

Hard-sell content works well with Instagram audiences and still managed to gain a lot of attention, while this format and strategy might not work as well with Twitter audiences
